The above is quoted from the text on the exhibition in the museum’s web site→, presumably written by the curator of the show, Adjunct Professor Priv.-Doz. Dr. Jochen Sander. Besides being presumptuous, the comment is interesting in light of the title they chose for the show, in other words how they market it to the public.

Other possible titles for the exhibition could have been: The Privilege of Things, or The Value of Things.

Some beautiful pieces. In particular I love the sincerity and distortions of some of the earlier 16th century paintings where the artist was struggling with the perspective(s).
