It seems to me that something which is about passion should be done soberly and something which is about superficiality should be handled deeply and have some resonance. This film is about superficiality and is itself entirely superficial. The only thing that resonates is Mick Jagger’s voice in a nice song that he and Dave Stewart wrote Old Habits Die Hard.
