What I liked about this film:
→ full of authentic or well imitated Irish-English (Cate Blanchett is Australian);
→ a lot of footage of Baile Atha Cliath;
→ a brief but good appearance by Colin Farrel;
→ some good music, including Sinead O’Connor, and a genius of a boy singer, Brian O’Donnell, found as a street singer by the score composer, Harry Gregson-Williams; O’Donnell sings The Fields of Athenry.
